Overview Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a IdAM Devops Engineer supporting an Intelligence Community Customer. The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally. Responsibilities * Responsible for the quality and testing of software development and deployments. * Perform manual and some automated testing to ensure the software created by developers is bug free, meets requirements, and is ready for deployment. * Creating, analyzing user stories, use cases, and requirements for validity and feasibility. * Collaborate closely with software developers, engineers, and leadership. * Executing all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression) * When necessary, develop automated test scripts. * Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies and track till closure. * Apply QA engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle. * Provide general coordination support within the assigned team. * Create project documentation, test plans and reports as required. Qualifications Clearance Required: TS/SCI with CI poly Degree and Years of Experience: Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in the fields of Mathematics, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience. Required Certifications: * IATII Required Skills: * The successful candidate for this Software Test Engineer position must possess the ability to work within a technical team environment as a group as well as independently. * Experience performing manual/automated software testing within a Linux environment. * Familiar with breaking down requirements into epics and stories. * Experience with software tools such as Jira for scrum/Kanban boards, tracking defects and issues. * Prior experience with Linux RHEL 6/7 OS is a must. Most systems are Linux based. * Breakdown user requirements, create epics, user stories and test cases. * Develop test plans and documentation Desired Skills: * Prior experience working within an Agile and DevOps team. * Knowledge of the full lifecycle for software engineering. * Understanding of CM, QA, manual/automated testing and breaking down requirements into segments that the team can engineer and develop to. * Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence or similar tools. * Linux RHEL 6/7 OS.
