          Job Description

          Developing and supporting processes to collect, identify, define, aggregate, conceptualize, and prioritize strategic and near-term requirements associated with the Insider Threat identification and mitigation.


          The candidate shall have the following experience and background:

          • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience
          • Recognized certifications or training related to Insider Threats
          • An active Top Secret clearance, with ability to obtain higher clearances if required
          • Designing, managing, or participating in Insider Threat programs for the US Government
          • Familiarity with technologies/tools/databases/analytics for detecting, deterring, and mitigating and Insider Threats
          • Collecting, reviewing, and evaluating client and open source information for Insider Threats
          • Developing data, drawing conclusions, and estimating probabilities based upon knowledge of current and past insider threat cases, and an understanding of the significance of conditions and trends
          • Performing regular threat cycle reviews in order to assess shifting or emerging threats and any associated vulnerabilities
          • Providing specialized intelligence and threat analysis and production support
          • Conducting research on manual and automated databases for the purpose of identifying information of interest, securely storing information, and writing reports for customers
          • Providing tailored intelligence and insider threat / risk analysis
          • Developing technical support documents, summaries, reports, presentations, and other designated products
          • Briefing a wide range to client personnel, including senior leaders
          • Developing or refining insider threat ontologies and taxonomies to direct queries, data collection and tagging
          • Help the client advance their current capabilities, improve processes, and look for new ways drive impact
          • Ability to constructively identify and understand customer requirements and mission objectives

          Desired Experience:

          • Familiarization with assessing risks in business processes including those with IT systems;
          • Critical thinker and solution finder for complex IT security situations and/or business processes vulnerable to insider threats;
          • Familiarization with IT monitoring tools; configuration management; managing or maintaining user accounts and system privileges; risk and vulnerability assessments; operational threat assessments;
          • Knowledge of network protocols; network security; information assurance management; cyber security capability validations; automated vulnerability scanning tools
