    Job Description

    ASRC Federal Mission Services' focus is on technical and complex, mission-oriented services with contracts supporting federal government agencies. Our team of scientists and professional management personnel allows us to bring real-world experience to meet the growing demand for solutions to some of the most complex problems in aviation, IT management, aviation, and Earth and space sciences. We are seeking a Telecommunications Administrator to support a government contract in Sterling, VA. Responsibilities: * Administer the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) server and voice messaging system, including voice extensions, subscriber mailboxes, backups, reports, and automatic call distribution (ACD) software. * Advise management regarding solutions and costs related to telecommunication requests. * Administer government approved translations on the IVR server, processing moves, and changes on stations and equipment. * Keep tele-management records current. * Work with network engineers to generate work orders for voice and data applications. * Assist with developing IVR and call routing applications. * Maintain proper documentation of systems configurations. * Assist in departmental projects. * Maintain the confidentiality of information, and adhere to compliance and security considerations. * Share in providing on-call technical support after hours and on weekends as needed ASRC Federal and its Subsidiaries are Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employers. English language fluency required. * Ability to interact effectively with executives, customers, vendors and department staff. * Able to work independently or in a group environment. * Occasional lifting and/or carrying of 20 lbs. or more. * Knowledge of Cisco UCCE or UCCX and CUCM solutions. * Knowledge of Nuance voice solution. Must be a US Citizen to meet contract requirements. Must be able to obtain/maintain Public Trust level of access. Education/Experience: * BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or equivalent, and at least two (2) years' experience in the field.
