Service Now Developer (Washington, DC) up to 120k
Our client is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, passionate ServiceNow software Senior Software Developer who loves to analyze and solve problems for our customers and partners and provide customer delight by helping implement and support development projects.
Responsibilities and Duties
Work independently as a Software Developer and as a member of the project implementation/support/services team
Analyze, evaluate and document customer requirements
Map and Gap customer requirements to ServiceNow product functionality
Identify gaps and evaluate ways to bridge the gaps through workarounds, product extensions, customizations
Communicate with team in-person and over the phone on implementation workflows and technical/functional aspects of the projects and be a critical member of the team to help implement projects successfully
Work as a team member closely with the Project Manager, and other team members to ensure implementations are completed on time and within budget
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
4 yrs of hands-on experience developing Client SDK libraries in Java for ServiceNow API's
3-4 yrs building customizations on ServiceNow products and solutions specifically CMDB, Change Management and Incident Management
Experience working with customers in the US or Europe
Skilled in verbal, written and oral communication
Strong team player with a great attitude
Flexibility and willingness to go beyond the call of duty (a go getter)
Ability to take ownership and drive issues to closure
4 year Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Eng or related
ServiceNow Developer Certificate (Nice to have)
Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
