Client is seeking a full-time Sr IT Engineer MS Server Cloud Technologies who will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting Microsoft server and Azure platform technologies. They must exhibit tactical and strategic experience focused on executing on-premises-to-cloud systems and server migrations and designing and executing network and systems integration of global sites. The Sr IT Engineer MS Server Cloud Technologies performs senior-level engineering and ongoing administration, deploys new service offerings, resolves highest-tier issues, and automates operations. The Senior IT Engineer for Microsoft Windows technologies reports to the Sr. Director, IT Infrastructure Operations, as part of the IT Operations team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to Plan and execute on-premises-to-cloud systems and server migrations, including Azure workload planning and cost analysis. Design and implement Azure Stack for HCI, including Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, Azure Update Management, Azure Network Adapter, and Azure Site Recovery. Design, implement, and maintain LAN and WAN topologies and configure network infrastructure components (switches, routers, firewalls). Ensure proper deployment, management, and support of Azure tenant, including Azure Security Center and training of existing and new Microsoft 365 service offerings. Designimplementupgrademaintain Windows Hyper-V environment, bringing expert experience in virtualization tools and platforms. Provide senior-level Windows Server platform support and administration, including server deployment, Active Directory, Group Policy, and other core Windows systems. Provide senior-level technical expertise in Windows OS, both server and workstation products and technologies. Provide senior-level design and support for authentication services such as SAML, OAuth, LDAP, and Kerberos. Design and execute network and systems integration of global sites (acquisitions, new global and local facilities), including Active Directory trust and Microsoft 365 inter-tenant connectivity and security. Assist in the architecture and administration of security policies encompassing all Microsoft on-premises and cloud services. Stay abreast of changes and new releases to Microsoft technologies, learning them and implementing as appropriate. Ensure that all critical, high, and medium security vulnerabilities are remediated on server systems and network infrastructure. Provide highest-level Service Desk support. Minimum Requirements 10+ years of experience administering Windows Server 2008R2201220162019 and advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Group Policy, and related Microsoft technologies. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Hyper-V. Minimum 2 years of experience working with a variety of Windows scripting languagestools (PowerShell, VBScript, batch). Be able to develop and improve processes for repeatable implementation, customization, andor maintenance of Microsoft technologies. Expert-level experience with and knowledge of authentication methods Microsoft NPS, multi-factor authentication (MFA), device sign-on methods, manage authentication methods. Must have extensive experience with SAML, OAuth, LDAP, and Kerberos. Strong verbalwritten communication skills required with an ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience. Effective time management skills and a demonstrated ability to work on and lead multiple projects simultaneously. Strongly desired MCSA, MCSE, Microsoft Azure certification(s).
