REI Systems is looking for Senior Project Manager with 8-10 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical and management direction for an agile software development project, interface with government and contractor personnel, and support new business efforts. Lead the successful technical, schedule, and cost performance of a critical USAID program, including financial management and tracking of budget versus actuals incurred, revenue projections and invoices. Direct changes in project scope, identify potential issues, and expediently formulate contingency plans. Continuously communicate and coordinated with USAID customer and Product Owners to prioritize work to ensure support to their critical mission needs. Demonstrate leadership and communication skills to form a strong relationship with the customers and decision makers to be best situated to cultivate a long-term Roadmap for development support Regularly monitor project metrics, successes, and status provide progress and presentations to upper management, as needed. Work with both functional and technical project team members to deliver high-quality solutions to the USAID in an agile manner Effective planning, coordination, execution, monitoring, and management of work requests and related tasks utilizing strong and pervasive project management expertise for IT projects and IT management Manage technical and programmatic support for a Tier 3 OM Help Desk Accomplish human resource objectives by recruiting, hiring, and orienting new program employees. Perform project resource management and capacity planning to make optimal use of resources Support Growth activities such as proposal input, new customer demonstrations and presentations, and corresponding business development efforts Ensure that program activities operate within the policies and procedures of the USAID contract as well as the REI organization Other similar professional duties maybe assigned as needed 5-8 years of experience as Senior Project Manager or similar position Project Management experience in planning, estimating, resourcing, executing, monitoring, and managing information technology projects, preferably in technical areas such as Agile Application development Website developmentredesign Systems engineering, application redesign and re-platforming Technology upgrades andor integrations Application migrations and consolidation Business Intelligence andor Data Analytics Experience managing technical projects using an Agile Scrum Methodology Organizes, directs, and manages contract operation support functions, involving multiple, complex and interrelated project tasks. Demonstrated ability to plan, manage, execute, and monitor projects requiring compliance with Federal project management frameworks Systems engineering lifecycles Software development lifecycles (agile, waterfall, etc.) Earned Value Management (EVM) Task level cost and schedule estimation, tracking, reporting, and management Demonstrated and validated ability to address corrective actions and to follow proper escalation protocols and procedures project sponsors, customers, and internal management Flexibility and agility to deal with a challenging program and a demanding customer Excellent presentation and leadership skills Strong leadership skills to define requirements for project risks Excellent organizational, presentation, and customer service skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Education Qualifications Bachelorrsquos Degree Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance Employer will accept a suitable combination of education, training or experience Desired Skills Previous Experience managing projects for the Federal Government Previous experience with HHS customers (HHS, FDA, CDC, NIH, CMS, HRSA, etc.) Bachelorrsquos Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or another technical related field Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Agile (SAFe, CSM, PMI-ACP, CSPO, etc.) certifications About REI REI Systems has delivered innovative solutions that empower people and impact millions of lives since 1989.
