Job Description for Dietetic Technician
Take Vitals and weights from patients and log into Vitals binder and KIPU chart on the morning shift.
Assist RD with ordering meals, grocery shopping, meal prep and plating client’s meals and snacks.
Have strong working knowledge of the dietary food exchange system and can plate meals according to client’s meal plans.
Can identify eating disorder behaviors and can redirect and support clients with these behaviors.
Can make progress notes on each client’s behaviors during meals in the KIPU chart.
Will help with cleaning up after meals.
Supervised by Lead Dietitian and Clinical Director on an ongoing basis.
CPR and First Aid Certified
Has passed background screenings.
Has a college degree.
Will have 15 hours a year of eating disorder related CEU training.
Will receive training on behavioral training, such as de escalations.
