      A growing company in the suburbs of Chicago, is seeking a multi-faceted Human Resources Manager to lead HR initiatives. If you excel in taking ownership, possess the ability to flex where needed and consider yourself a proactive leader, then we would like to speak with you! We are searching for an 'out of the box' creative thinker who has a sound HR background to support compliance and problem solving as employment related issues arise.       For success, this role will require a proven and proactive Human Resources Leader who is very passionate about recruitment/talent management and Human Resources in general. This Generalist opportunity will oversee the entire HR function for the organization and is largely focused in performing responsibilities in the following areas:

      • Talent Acquisition - Performs full-cycle recruitment, on-boarding new employees and background checks.
      • Compliance - Handles all HR legal compliance related to handbook, policies and procedures.
      • Human Resources Advisor - Stays current on HR trends and offers solutions to HR/Business challenges.
      • Employee Relations - Oversees disciplinary process, investigations and other related matters.
      • Human Resources Administration - Performs general administration of HR related records including unemployment claims management and any electronic data base management.
      • Benefits and compensation management and any other HR related duties.

      Requirements

      • Five+ years' experience in Human Resources required.
      • Proven experience using social media for talent acquisition, referral tools, on-line recruiting tools/databases, and other recruiting methods to attract hard to find talent.
      • Knowledgeable of employment related laws and regulations.
      • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS, and talent management systems.
      • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
      • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR or MBA in HR preferred.
