As a CCIE level Solution Architect Sales Support this position will work closely with the Sales team to develop customized cloud and telecom solutions to close business with customers. You will help existing and prospective customers to understand the power of our solutions by explaining technical features, handling objections, and problem-solving any potential roadblocks. You are the technical expert in the sales process from initial customer engagement through hand-off to the operations department for implementation of the solution. This will be a hybrid role between a solutions architect and delivery engineer. The candidate should be well versed in the areas above, as well as firewall network configurations and support. This candidate will mentor network engineers on the team, but work as a solutions architect sales engineer. Responsibilities and Duties Partner with Sales Business Development team. Present our solutions, give product demos, and handle technical objections or concerns. Propose technical and creative business solutions in support of sales objectives. Design and deliver high quality technical proof of concepts (POCs) for prospective customers. Present technical aspects of proposed solutions to a C-Level audience. Build strong relationships with customersrsquo technical and business executives. Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to receive the support needed to accomplish the technical sales goals. Collaborate with our operations, engineering, data center and accounting departments to ensure a smooth handoff after signing the deal. Upgrade circuits from 1G to 10G (3 DIAs, 2 point-to-point circuits) Configure new 7K core switches and migrate from 6500rsquos Upgrade a pair of Dell switches with Nexus 93180rsquos. Core networking, WAN routing, SDWAN, Cloud on-ramp Configure new TACACS server Qualifications BABS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 yearrsquos work experience serving as a Solutions Architect supporting the sales team from solution design to customer presentations. Experience presenting to senior business and technical executives, give product demos, lead POCs, and handle any technical concerns or objections. Experience working with clientrsquos technical team to develop joint plan to ensure smooth implementation. Experience with Cloud, VMware, Co-location, storage, DR, security, telecommunication, and networking network technologies. Ability to communicate effectively with both internal stakeholders and customer executives. Enjoy working hard in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
