What you'll do day-to-day (with your colleagues) Build and maintain cloud like resources housed in OpenStack on the Advanced Analytics platform Daily management and administration of Linux hosted VMs Migrate an application, database, and data feeds from a research and development system to the operational Advanced Analytics Platform transition legacy systems and data and enable analytics at-scale Intermediate and advanced support for web database servers, applications, and end-users Provide an exceptional customer support experience for our clients Document processes and procedures used and developed during the transition process Minimum requirements for this position Must be a with a currentactive TSSCI will also be required to obtain a CI polygraph 3+ years' experience in Administering Linux systems A Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems engineering, or related field. Four additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree Willing to work onsite at Government customer sites These skills would be amazing Familiarity with Openstack platform (Nova, Ceph, Swift, etc.) PaaS management tool experience (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Kubernetes) NoSQL databases administration (ElasticSearch, etc.) Ability to work both independently and in a team environment SQLdatabase experience (postgres, postgis) Cloud services (AWS, C2S, Azure) Containerization (Docker, Linux containers,) Knowledge of big data toolsets - Hadoop, Yarn, Spark, Accumulo, etc Experience with SSLPKI, to include ability to isolate and resolve SSL-related server and client issues COMPTIA Security+ certification or CISSP certification or the ability to acquire and maintain certification cjpost Maxar Technologies values diversity in the workplace and is an equal opportunityaffirmative action employer.
