    Enterprise Healthcare Software Account Exec (VA/MD/DC/PA/DE) -

    At MetiStream we believe automated text and code search on unstructured clinical notes should be a fundamental right for healthcare organizations.  Unfortunately most are denied this basic right thru limitations of their existing EHR and/or research tools.  MetiStream’s Ember product makes this possible through a Google-like search and a scalable NLP engine that can rapidly attribute and index millions of physician notes (even a ten year historical backlog) in a matter of hours and then deliver those notes for analytics.  Imagine: no more tedious “hunt and peck” of patient cases.  With both unstructured and structured data joined at their fingertips, we unlock the hidden value of patient data and shepard healthcare organizations into a modern era that starts with essential search and ends with insight.

    Location

    • Vienna, VA (Washington D.C Area) / or remote in PA or DE
    • Travel required to support territory

    You will

    • Identify and develop new sales opportunities
    • Achieve designated software license quota on an annual basis
    • Work with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) / Inside Sales staff to develop and fine-tune sales and marketing messages and strategies
    • Qualify, develop and follow-up on sales leads
    • Develop account strategies and research / stay current on customer needs
    • Develop sales presentations and support RFI/RFP proposal efforts
    • Provide input to marketing materials and support marketing campaigns
    • Work in collaboration with SDRs and Sales Engineers to drive opportunities
    • Work in collaboration with System Integrators (SIs) and vendor channel partners to pursue joint opportunities

    You have

    • 5(+) years of strong enterprise software and services sales experience
    • Previously held and achieved a sales quota
    • Understanding of software licensing and subscription pricing models
    • Experience in Big Data/AI/ML and analytics solutions
    • Experience with selling into the healthcare industry (Provider / Payor / Pharma & Life Sciences)
    • Entrepreneurial mentality to build sales opportunities in a new territory
    • Ability to position solutions by thinking "out of the box" and creating opportunity where none may appear to exist
    • Ability to break down barriers in order to locate and/or create revenue opportunities
    • Ability to learn quickly, grasp information and apply it to a given situation inside a customer problem or planning process
    • Exceptional communication skills, including written communication through clear and concise messaging
    • Exceptional listening skills
    • “Hunter” mindset; strong cold-calling skills
    • Knowledge of sales territory management and tools (SalesForce.com experience a plus)
    • Good negotiation, conflict management & customer service skills
    • Ability to manage multiple, diverse accounts and sales events simultaneously
    • Ability to demonstrate consistent closing techniques throughout the sales cycle
    • Team environment in working across several departments to achieve consensus
    • A positive & goal-oriented work attitude and a competitive drive
    • Startup experience at a software company (nice to have)
    • A bachelor’s degree in Business, marketing, communications or other related field
