We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our single provider practice. Candidate must demonstrate quality of care, teamwork, respect, honesty, professionalism, and confidentiality. EMR experience required.

• Schedule appointments, obtain all necessary medical records and referrals. Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorization
• Review upcoming appointments for UDS (every 6 months) and complete requisitions
• Collect payments.
• Answer incoming calls, take messages, perform prescription refills and PDMP verification
• Perform check-out, scan all documents given to patients, and set-up follow-up appointments
• Work with patients and staff to provide exceptional customer service
• Must be a team player

Reliable transportation required. Previous experience in Physiatry, Orthopedics, Neurology or Pain Management preferred.

An ideal candidate must have a positive outlook, be able to multitask and maintain a professional presence.

Completion of drug screening to comply with a Drug-Free Workplace and completion of a background check.

Weekly schedule is M-F with no weekends.
