BEHAVIORAL HEALTH ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR

Job Summary
The Director is the designated leader for the Behavioral Health Pavillion. He/She is responsible for the patient population and assigned staff. The Director plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and evaluates behavioral health departmental activities. He/She provides direct support and guidance to the staff in their development managerially. He/She has twenty-four hour accountability for the department. The Administrator is accountable to the Hospital CEO who provides operational oversite. The Chief Nursing Officer provides oversight for the overall operation in the Behavioral Health Pavillion. The Administrator will ensure success of the hospital through quality enhancement, cost containment, revenue growth and development of strong relationships with hospital staff, board members, and community leaders. He/she is responsible and will be accountable for marketing the programs in the Behavioral Health Pavillion.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a management role or position of responsibility; Minimum of five (5) years of behavioral health acute care experience; Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills; experience in quality improvement; self directed; excellent time management; Problem solving skills while building relationships with board members, physicians, hospital employees, and community; growing Behavioral Health revenue to meet budgetary goals and objectives; and meeting necessary regulatory and compliance approvals and quality accreditations.
Education: MSN required. Active PA RN License in good standing required
