The Program Director will lead a large engineering team on a technology based program supporting a key Intelligence Community (IC) customer. This program will deliver engineering services for sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multi-Cloud services as well as virtualized applications, and storage systems. This enterprise infrastructure integrates with diverse local and global wide area network infrastructure. Engineering services include modern application technology including containerized solutions with orchestrated workflow that function both on customer premise, and via remote Cloud services. This is a fast paced, challenging, and career rewarding experience to recruit and develop provide top talent and solutions on one of the most complex and high profile programs within the IC. Responsibilities Include: * Planning, directing, and coordinating computer-related activities including electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming. * Performing day-to-day management of the program, and develop long-term and strategic objectives to ensure that end user requirements will be satisfied in future years of the contract. * Performing horizontal integration planning, and interface with other functional areas, ensuring that technical solutions and schedules are implemented in a timely manner. Required Education, Experience, & Skills * Strong business acumen - highly capable of formulating and executing aggressive, but reasonable acquisition and engineering schedules in coordination with multiple subcontractor and technology vendor partners, both large and small * Technically proficient - experienced in modern systems engineering best practices, applications, hosting and data management technology. * Experience with automation of data center systems and Cloud provisioning, management, and agile development methodology * Bachelor's degree in engineering, management, business or related field * Program Management Professional (PMP) Certified Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills * Over 10 years of experience providing program management for large scale engineering programs in support of enterprise computing infrastructure for a top tier US Intelligence Agency in excess of $100M lifecycle value. * Over 15 years of experience working on Intelligence Agency enterprise computing infrastructure and engineering programs, including on-site customer engagement. * Program experience employing earned value management (EVM) * Master's degree in engineering, management, business or related fields About BAE Systems Intelligence & Security BAE Systems, Inc. is the U.S. subsidiary of BAE Systems plc, an international defense, aerospace and security company which delivers a full range of products and services for air, land and naval forces, as well as advanced electronics, security, information technology solutions and customer support services.
