Trader Interactive is seeking a Principal Product Manager to join our Data Strategy team.
Are you passionate about growing, maintaining, testing, and evaluating big data solutions and technologies in support of an online advertising business? Are you passionate about using data and analytics to help inform business decisions? We are looking for a product manager who can take charge of our data product roadmap and drive the strategy with the end goal of creating high-value products that create new revenue streams. Successful candidates will be talented and capable of developing an agile strategy for data tools and products at Trader Interactive.
Create and drive the roadmap and overall strategy of data and analytics products at scale for OEM and dealer clients
Connect the data strategy to measurable outcomes that make an impact for our customers and our business
Help cultivate a rich data environment where more isn’t necessarily better, data integrity and quality matters to ultimately deliver credible insights
Operate in time-sensitive environment with competing deadlines, appropriately prioritize the short and long term paths based on an Agile development process
Possess expertise in end-to-end data analytics processes from ETL to business analysis and board-level presentations
Ability to discern trends and guidance from a variety of data sources without spending weeks on number-crunching
Working with key stakeholders and customers to assess the business value and align on road maps along with being flexible as roadmaps change and/or realign
Be highly conversant in the KPIs and business drivers of a diverse set of business units, from subscriptions to e-commerce, programmatic advertising to new operating platforms
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in applied analytics, statistics or equivalent experience in addition to several years of experience in a product management capacity supporting high traffic and high volume data processing products
5-7 years experience building data products at scale
Owning and evangelizing a product-first strategy for data and analytics products and tools, company-wide
Experience with large-scale digital media publishers
Deep muscle memory of Agile development methodology and processes
The ability to tell stories with data, beyond presenting spreadsheets, dashboards, or charts
Ability to command a room with authority, authenticity, credibility and collegiality
