We are hiring Test Lab
Operators at our Johnson Controls Advanced Development and Engineering
Center! This is a brand new 260,000
square foot facility with state of the art equipment and we are looking to add
Test Lab Operators to our team. This is
an excellent training program that will provide you with 2 years of on the job
training around how we design and test products for our customers. You will

and 2nd shift.
What you will do:
As a Test Lab Operator you
will perform duties to plan, analyze, set up, test, observe, check, record,
chart data points, maintain, and operate facilities, data acquisition
equipment, personal computers, and equipment on test, of any product or
component part of a system being built, developed or purchased.
How you will do it:
- You will work to
test our equipment by performing operations that include working from drawings
to graphs to creating instructions.
- You will make
necessary connections of everything from to electrical power to water to test the
instrumentation of the products.
- You will perform
work such as flushing, leak testing, evacuation, charging/transferring
refrigerants, aligning drives and rotating parts. Fabricate and assemble non-metallic
ducts and test fixtures.
- From a facility
operation perspective you will support testing equipment that include fans,
towers, pumps, heaters, valves, controls, computers and more.
- You will monitor
gauges, dials, controls, sensors, instruments, and displays and will regulate
flow rates, temperature controls, pressure controls, humidity controls, motor
generator frequency, VSD frequency, motor/component speed/frequency control,

and record data at specified intervals and maintain support equipment, facility
logs, maintenance task list, and organizational task list.

- Experience using
precision electrical, measuring, testing instruments, power tools, ladders,
brazing equipment, and appropriate material handling equipment.
- This position is
a 2 year Test Operator training program.
During the training period, the position may be required to work
alternate shifts while in training.
- Must also
complete forklift training, crane training, and Universal Certificate for
