    We’re growing fast and looking to hire a Product Owner for Marketing and Sales/eCommerce to help develop and execute digital product and technology roadmaps. You’ll get the chance to work alongside skilled, passionate people who love to share their experience while having your voice heard and opinions weighed.

    This role is critical to our business. You will have a direct impact on the solutions, tools and integrations our Marketing & Sales teams use for user acquisition, analytics, ecommerce and reporting to improve user conversion and business decision making.

    We’ll start by introducing ourselves. We’re Lurn – The Transformational Home for Entrepreneurs. Our company is pioneering how Entrepreneurs learn and connect with each other (all over the World). Being an Entrepreneur can be a very lonely business – well, not for long. 

    We’ve built a Publishing platform that has 100+ courses on it and will soon allow for Entrepreneurs to connect, communicate and network with each other. 

    In 2020, our business has grown 150%. We’ve more than doubled our team size (yes, COVID ain’t got nothing on us). In 2020, we expanded our Engineering team from six to a team of 25. Right now, we’re focused on building out our engineering team to make the best platform Lurn could ever imagine.

    The platform already has 500,000 members and is rapidly growing to 10 million. Long story short, we’re on the brink of major growth in 2021, we’ve already passed our tipping point.

    Does this sound like you?

    We need a Product Owner to help define Lurn’s roadmap and backlog for Marketing and Sales.  You will:

    • Own the roadmap and Agile backlog for 2 development teams -  Marketing & Sales/Commerce. You will partner with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and other Engineering stakeholders. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to other roadmaps and products as part of a team of Product Owners, but Marketing and Sales will be your main focus.
    • Own the definition of objectives, KPIs, and technology solutions that solve business problems by working with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams. This includes business and product analysis, requirements definition, incremental delivery planning, solution oversight, as well as rollout, adoption and post-launch planning.
    • Provide thought leadership to how we develop solutions and plan roadmaps. We have a lot of pride in our work and want to make sure we are delivering high quality solutions - keeping up with industry developments and maturing our workflow is critical to making sure we are all learning and growing.

    This is an incredible opportunity for anyone interested in taking the next step in their career. You will have the ability to work closely with one of our more experienced Product Owners who will be able to teach you the ropes of Lurn. 

    Here’s what we are looking for:

    • 3+ years in a role related to digital consumer product planning and backlog management, engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders in an Agile environment.
    • 3+ years experience converting business needs to actionable plans
    • 3+ years working with customers to build and formulate business requirements.
    • 2+ years experience in Digital Marketing and Customer Acquisition  Technologies (MarTech) such as Advertising systems, Digital communication and marketing platforms, Personalization solutions, Marketing Automation, and Analytics solutions.
    • Experience related to Customer Relationship Management or eCommerce systems and integrations
    • Experience leading conversations between non-technical and technical teams.
    • Experience conveying business and technical concepts in verbal and written form to technical and non-technical audiences
    • Strong understanding of software development and Agile practices as related to work coordination, story writing, acceptance criteria, as well as dependency and deployment management.
    • Strong self motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
    • Able to work in a fast-paced, virtual environment
