Sr. Business Systems Analyst (Mortgage Lending industry required, CA locals only) IMMEDIATE NEED for a Sr. Business Systems Analyst to join a Mortgage Lending services company based in Santa Ana, CA regarding either a Direct Hire or Contract to Hire option for on boarding. Will start remotely due to Covid-19, and once Covid-19 finishes onsite work will resume. Responsibilities Works with CTO and Business Users to define product strategy and roadmap with prioritized features and corresponding justification. Consults with business staff to develop understanding of the varied and complex business needs (current and changing) supported by the system. Provides ideas and recommendations regarding the integration of the system in day to day business and the evolution of the system. Build effective relationships with business unitsdepartments, outside vendors, and project manager in support of the systems and corporate processes and ensure the business needs have been met. Conducts research and analysis into the nature, effect and results of system problems. Develops detailed business user requirements, system documentation, workflow procedures, and data modeling. Negotiates plans, time frames and tradeoffs while ensuring client understands the final results of the developmentconfiguration. Ensures current and accurate system documentation, coordinates andor performs testing of system modifications, and develops, provides, or coordinates system training, educational tools and materials. Assist and troubleshoot user computer application inquiries in a timely manner. Respond to requests via Asana to track details or steps taken to resolve issues and route problemsrequests as reported. Review implemented system changesimprovements and provide feedback on overall effect to all users, including testing, documentation, and subject matter input. Engages in industryprofessional networks to gain awareness of industry standards, trends and best practices to strengthen organizational and technical knowledge. Maintain a professional image, positive attitude, and adhere to standards consistent with company policies and procedures. Qualifications Mortgage industry experience required. Minimum of 3 yearsrsquo experience with business operations or systems development, or equivalent combination of education and experience in one or more specific areas of business, such as insurance, underwriting, financial, manufacturing, or Business Process Reengineering concepts and methods. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to interact effectively with branch, regional and corporate personnel. Demonstrated analytical and negotiation skills with close attention to detail. Excellent computer skills, including Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, VISIO, VB, other graphic software or similar programs. Ability to understand concepts governing relational database structures, use reportingquery tools, and construct SQL statements. Must be available to work all regularly scheduled hours, arriving at scheduled reporting time and at the prescribed time after any breaks or lunch periods.
