the community, AdAge's 2020 Multicultural Agency of the Year, started with one goal in mind: creating a different type of company that creates a different type of advertising. Never abiding by traditional definitions of how an agency works, we’ve never been traditional in our approach to ideas, brands, culture, nor the kind of people who join our community. We are not a multicultural agency. We’re a global agency made of diverse backgrounds, with one unifying mission: to create culturally-potent ideas for a multi-everything world.
Interested in disrupting the advertising landscape? Do you consider yourself to be an operationally minded and creatively focused account executive who is looking to do the best work of your career? And help your team to do the best work of their career? If so, read on…
the community is looking to hire a Senior Brand Associate to join our growing team. This role will begin working remote from the comfort of your own home and will end up in our Miami office when the world returns to normal (or some version of it).
Day-to-day you will be working into a Brand Supervisor (reporting to the Senior Brand Lead) helping to set the pace and drive the overall process on one of the country’s largest telecom brands. In this role, you will work to ensure the client's needs and goals are being met on a variety of integrated ATL + BTL campaigns. This is a fast paced team with lots of opportunity for growth working directly with members of our leadership team.
Acquire in-depth knowledge of the client’s business: key issues, competitive landscape, industry trends and the implications on our work.
Stay up-to-date on changes to media channels and advertising trends understanding what is best-in-class and how, when, and where to reference it as a creative solution for my team, client or work.
Drive client projects across a variety of media channels including TV, print, OOH, employee communications, social and digital.
Own the process from beginning to end to ensure work gets shipped on time.
Identify ways to turn problems into opportunities, knowing when to escalate–always with a solution (or two) in mind.
Think three steps ahead to anticipate the question the client is definitely going to ask, have already sourced the competitive example the creative team will need–working on those things before they even come up or anyone asks for them.
Track and manage expectations on timelines, budgets and priorities so my supervisors and clients aren’t caught off guard by something happening on one of my projects.
Provide clarity by taking accurate/timely notes from all meetings and conference calls to keep the extended team aligned on agreements, next steps and responsibilities.
Serve as THE final set of eyes on everything I do–constantly on the lookout for mistakes never assuming that someone else will catch them.
Be the glue across agency departments to pull everyone and everything together guiding teams towards our common goal of delivering great work.
Train and manage interns (and potentially Brand Coordinators) to help them get the hang of getting things done in the agency faster and more accurately.
4-5+ years of fast-paced advertising agency experience in an account management or equivalent role.
Strong project management and operations skills.
Proven track record of achieving results and getting the right things done.
Experience collaborating with remote teams.
Ability to handle pressure and remain flexible to work under especially tight deadlines.
Experience within the US General Market sector.
Native fluent level language skills both in oral and written communications in English language required; Spanish language skills is a plus.
Proficiency in Google Workspace: Slides, Sheets, Docs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree requested.
Got what it takes? We’d love to hear from you.
