    Job Description

    KELLY is seeking experienced Contract Administrator candidates for a local customer in the Vienna, VA. Salary range $27hr-$30hr depending on experience. 

    Job Description:

    As a Contracts Specialist you will play a critical role. Deliver a broad range of industry-leading radar, electro-optics, and vehicle self-protection technologies to U.S. customers by tailoring technologies to meet the needs of our customers. This is your opportunity to join an emerging product solutions government contractor and help shape the future of sensor/radar technologies.

    You will interface with all levels in the company. Reporting to the Director of Contracts, this role provides administrative contract/subcontract support. This individual, under general supervision, will maintain status on contract/subcontract actions, prepare contractual instruments and related documents, research contracts and other administrative contract support as required.

    Duties include but are not limited to:

    -Prepare contract award and modifications and identify appropriate contract clauses.
    -Assist in the coordination of Vendor and subcontractor pre-qualification process
    -Adhere to contract policies, procedures, methods, operating practices, and performance standards for areas of responsibility
    -Maintain contract/procurement files in compliance with policy; create administrative mods to include funding mods, point of contact changes, and period of performance extensions.
    -Prepare internal reports as directed by the Director of Contracts. These reports may include tracking deliverables, regulatory reporting, contract briefs and Government property.
    -Attend regular meetings with relevant business units and departments for status updates, upcoming statements of work, and any potential/actual contractual risks
    -Develop contract support packages to include research and resolution of payment/invoice discrepancies/issues, research of funds obligation/de-obligation issues, and research on procurements
    -Assist Subcontracts & Program Manager’s with contract/subcontract status inquiries
    -Assist in preparing routine Non-Disclosure agreements and other contractual agreements
    -Perform other duties as necessary and/or requested to satisfy the workload within contracts/subcontracts


    Contracts Department in a Government Contracting environment: 2 years (Required)
    Working in an office environment: 2 years (Required)

    Bachelors’ Degree in Contracts Administration, Business, Business Administration, Finance or related discipline and 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent years’ experience/education
    Ability to obtain/maintain US security clearance
    Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)
    Basic understanding of contract/purchase order terms and conditions and the government contracting process including sole source and competitive procurements
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office -Excel, Project etc.
    Demonstrated problem identification, analytic/ problem solving skills, flexibility, etc.
    Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
    Ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing exciting work environment
