The Carpenter in our company will construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard, using carpenter's hand tools and power tools, and then ensure that work is done in accordance with relevant codes.
This position will cut, shape, and assemble wooden articles or set up and operate a variety of woodworking machines, such as power saws, joiners, and mortises to surface, cut, or shape lumber or to fabricate parts for wood products. Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment. Study specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required. Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge. Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS High school diploma with a continuous record of learning; Training in vocational schools or related on-the-job experience

WORK EXPERIENCE Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, buildings, or other structures
Has had previous experience in performing many of the tasks required to achieve reasonable proficiency on the job.
Ability to act in a discreet manner
ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Reliable, good work ethic, high integrity, and drug-free (abuse of illegal and legal drugs)
Clean, presentable appearance

RIKB is currently seeking a Lead Carpenter candidate to successfully execute residential interior remodeling projects. Qualified candidates should possess the following:
- Minimum 10 years interior remodeling experience.
- In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and practices, and all local building codes.
- Success with the planning, execution, and managing of all tasks associated with interior projects.
- Schedule, supervise, evaluate, and provide immediate feedback to all trades on project to ensure the highest quality standards.
- Ability to consistently deliver a quality completed project on time, on budget, while exceeding the client's expectations.
- Consistently demonstrate a commitment to top level, forward communication daily with the Client, Designer, and Project Coordinator on each project.
- An extensive knowledge of the installation of current products in the kitchen and bath industry, coupled with a willingness to learn about new and emerging trends in products and installation techniques.
Other job requirements:
- Must be able to safely lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Must possess an active Driver's License.
- Own and ensure a professional construction vehicle
- Own and operate safely all power tools needed for residential renovation.
