Inside Sales REresentative & Procurement Specialist
Squadra Solutions, LLC is looking for an IT Inside Sales and Procurement Specialist to join our team! This person will work out of home office or our McLean, VA headquarters.
Ultimate goals are to assist in the achievement of complete customer satisfaction and provide customers with accurate and timely responses to requests for pricing and procurement support.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and excels in a team environment of open communications and a productive work atmosphere. The IT Quote and Procurement Specialist reports to and escalates unresolved issues to Sales Management.
n Provide a consistent inside Squadra contact for sales and customer service support
n Work in conjunction with the Squadra Pre-Sales and Outside Sales teams to drive revenue and achieve the highest possible level of customer satisfaction
n Draft and prepare quotes, procurement orders for business partners and customers
n Correspond with external vendors and service providers to request quotes, provide purchase orders, and ensure deadlines are met
n Process and track orders with vendors, provide internal and external update channel between relevant stakeholders
n Build solutions using vendor/ distributor specific configurators as an extension of our Solution Architects
n Work directly with existing customers to configure and quote smaller request
n Provide sales support, technical, consultative, and administrative services to the Squadra outside sales team and, through them or on their behalf, to Squadra customers
n Work with Squadra manufacturer and distribution partners to configure, quote, process, track and facilitate all relevant product sales
n Obtain and maintain necessary product certifications to fulfill your role as sales support for the Squadra Pre-Sales and Outside Sales teams. Squadra will provide and pay for the necessary training programs and examination fees to enable you to achieve this certification
n Assist in the architecture, creation, and presentation of proposals (RFP, RFI, etc.), as requested or necessary
n Provide daily tracking information for customers, Squadra Outside Sales team and as requested by Squadra Inside Sales management team
n Build strong relationships with Squadra existing client base
n Communicate on behalf of the company, with current and potential customers, providing a high-level of service
n Increase knowledge of IT industry, products, and trends in the marketplace
n Build and maintain relationships with channel and distribution partners
n Provide day-to-day executive level administrative support, including, but not limited to phone and email management, calendar organization, and task management.
n Research and compile a variety of data, as well as, create and maintain databases for storing/reporting information.
n Oversee multiple projects from conception to completion and making sure they are completed on time.
n Work with the Inside Sales team to collectively share workload, achieve optimum turnaround time on quotes/ configurations and maintain a spirit of teamwork to ensure mutual success in all endeavors
n Work together with Squadra Field Sales to gain net-new accounts
n Provide internal training and knowledge transfer to other Squadra inside sales consultants and staff as requested or necessary
n Collaborate with all levels of the organization in a professional and effective manner.
n Complete projects and special assignments by establishing objectives, determining priorities, and maintaining good time management.
n Demonstrate effective analytical skills to handle complex administrative details and to determine best approach/action to use in non-routine situations.
n Complete reports and special projects.
n 2-Yr experience building configurations using vendor/ distribution online configurators
n Ability to multitask, excellent oral and written communication, problem solving and time management skills
n Strong work ethic, flexible, and ability to think and work independently in a fast-paced sales environment
n Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, CRMs, Salesforce.com and NetSuite.
