    The Technical Sales Engineer will build and maintain the highest level of customer engagement, to meet or exceed order growth targets with current and prospective accounts. Identify and develop sales opportunities working through established partnerships and directly with customers. Accelerates existing business by identifying, qualifying and closing new customer projects. Will work closely with engineering and operations teams to create proposals, contracts, and use company tools to manage and report activities. Responsibilities include:
    • Prioritize multiple fast-paced sales opportunities and programs simultaneously to accelerate business, satisfy customers and maximize team efficiency.
    • Provide technical Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to secure orders for related products. Serves as Technical point of contact for technical and engineering team at key account’s.
    • Build working relationship with customer’s technical team as SME for KSM products and services. Lead ongoing technical meetings and demonstrate how a product or service meets client’s needs.
    • Drive revenue attainment through direct customer interface, development and translation of customer proposals, contracts and purchase orders.
    • Develop working relationships with clients, working through Account Managers, interpreting their requirements and providing solutions.
    • Leads sales side communication on Customer or Internal program calls; ensures expected business outcomes and works with corporate Engineering to achieve program success.
    • Provide clients with technical solutions that best satisfies their needs for quality, price and delivery.
    • Act as customer advocate post sales during the design phase, understanding the business relationship, expectations, and enough scope of the customers' requirements to help guide the relevant corporate teams.
    • Provide both pre- and after- sales support. Assist/Resolve product issues: technical, application, warranty and service.
    • Assist in investigations into unexpected or unsatisfactory product performance to determine root cause and preventative actions.
    • Develop commercial proposals in response to customer enquiries.
    • Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conference and other marketing activities.
    • Log customer and program data using company CRM, forecasting and reporting tools.
    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required (engineering, business, technology, management)
    • 5+ years related work experience in Technical Sales in the electronics industry
    • Functional familiarity with electronic product manufacturing, test, equipment and design process
    • Experience with one or more market segments including aerospace, consumer electronics, medical, industrial or automotive
    • Ability to travel as required
    • Ability to effectively balance strong technical skills with solid relationship-building capabilities
    • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong interpersonal, written, verbal communication skills (oral, written, presentations)
    • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people across various functions
    • Strong time management skills that enable on-time delivery
    • Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
