Position Description

The Sr. SharePoint Developer supports the architecture by designing, planning, evolution, development of the SharePoint MOSS; and programming in software engineering and computer security. Demonstrate experience in using strong analytical skills to understand specific customer domains and drive technical solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities
ﾕ Develop solutions by studying requirements analysis, consult with stake holders and IT Management
ﾕ Incorporate full range of developing automated business solutions using enterprise SharePoint
platform
ﾕ Design, develop and maintain key components of the software suite using classic ASP, Microsoft .Net
and SharePoint Server 2007 and 2013
ﾕ Provide expertise in SharePoint application development and in all facets of Web services design
including, user interface experience, automated report generation, and automation with other
Microsoft Office applications
ﾕ Perform operations and maintenance (O&M) tasks on SharePoint leveraging outﾖofﾖtheﾖbox
capabilities, SharePoint Designer, and other browserﾖbased technologies
ﾕ Write thorough concise functional and design specifications as well as easily readable end user
documentation

Required qualifications or skills

Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications Engineering, Software Engineering

ﾕ Must possess an active top secret clearance with SCI eligibility access
ﾕ 7+ yearsﾒ experience in building SharePoint-hosted and provider-hosted applications in SharePoint
ﾕ 7+ yearsﾒ experience in building, designing, and configuring SharePoint team sites and record centers
ﾕ Experience with developing software such as XML, HTML, Java Script, Microsoft Visual Studio, & C#
ﾕ Experience in using the Agile/Scrum approach to software development
ﾕ Experience with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Web Parts, and workflow creation
ﾕ Experience using jQuery, Client Object Model, and Service Oriented Architecture
ﾕ Strong communication skills, to include provide formal (oral/written) briefings to customer
ﾕ Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Windows operating systems
ﾕ Must have the ability to drive process improvements and identify gaps
ﾕ Must be proactive in engaging with stakeholders

Major Plus:

• Experience developing relational databases (e.g. Oracle, MySQL Server, Informix)
• Experience in developing with non?relational databases ((e.g., Casandra, Hadoop, Couch, NoSQL, Project Voldemort, Mongo, Drizzle)
• Experience in using the Agile/Scrum approach to software development
• Experience and skills using C#, C++, C, Java, PERL, and/or Python)
