                Job Description

                We are looking for a Practice Manger for a small but busy medical practice in Ashburn VA. Responsibilities include the overall planning and overseeing of all operations and business-related activities that include but not limited to patient experience and satisfaction, workflow, patient and staff scheduling, net revenue, and provider utilization. The manager will support all daily operations of the practice. Duties include staff interviewing and hiring, training, performance review, corrective procedures, and actions, oversee competency for staff and job performance, identify problem areas and develop solutions for improvement. Maintain team based/patient centered medical practice. Responsible for all personnel guidance, education, leadership, professional development, and performance. Other duties include employee resources, information systems knowledge and maintenance, risk management regulations and compliance, and marketing. Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, labor laws, and all federal and state regulations required. Manager will work closely with billing company and venders to ensure billing, coding, reimbursement, and revenue cycles run smoothly and successfully. Knowledge of surgical scheduling, billing, coding, and reimbursement. Ability to manage the overall financial functions and accountability of the practice. Manager is responsible for the overall practice operations in relation to the patients, financial knowledge and operations, maximize the physician and staff productivity and must have knowledge and experience in meeting all government regulations and industry requirements in order to maintain a successful medical practice. Manager also required to implement all provider credentialing and reporting of all practice financial matters. Manager responsible for the physical environment of the practice by purchasing, maintaining, and repairing equipment necessary to guarantee effective service, as well as all upkeep, cleaning, and renovation of the practice. Daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to owners includes strategic planning, quality improvement, financial reporting, and budget. Qualifications include bachelor's degree, 3-5 years managerial experience in health care field, or medical group setting with strengths in medical insurance knowledge, coding, and reimbursement. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, with proven ability to plan, manage, and maintain a professional work environment. Must be highly organized with interpersonal skills to direct employees and delegate tasks and coordinate workflow. Must work independently to meet deadlines, prioritize workload, manage time and resources effectively. Need to possess and demonstrate technical and professional knowledge and skills to oversee all clinical and financial operations of a medical practice. Practice Manager must possess organizational and analytical skills, decision making and problem-solving experience, to achieve expert patient care and excellent patient service.
