Job Summary:
Efficiently deliver produce to customers, process paperwork accurately, follow driver safety rules and provide professional customer service.

Summary Essential Job Functions:
 Report to Dispatch to receive daily route sheets schedule
 Must wear driver appeal attire at all times. In addition should be well groomed, and wear safety shoes and head covering while in the warehouse.
 Verify the contents inside of the Truck with Invoices received from Dispatch
 Check all invoices for payment terms; if terms are C.O.D./Cash and the customer does not have money available, call office for instructions.
 Credits must be clearly filled out with as much information as possible.
 Deliveries are not to be left outdoors. Driver must call Dispatch if customer is not present at time of delivery.
 Trucks cabin and box are to be locked while making a delivery.
 Route sheets are to be filled out completely and correctly, that includes breaks, delivery times, temperature and any changes in the route.
 All invoices must be signed and returned in clean, neat condition.
 Call Dispatch for any unauthorized parking. Drivers will be responsible for parking tickets that are not approved by dispatch.
 Report delays, accidents or traffic and transportation situation to Dispatch and/or Manager
 Products picked up from vendors are to be received by Receiving Dept. only. Driver must wait until Receiving Dept. receives them completely.
 Driver's assigned company phones and tablets must be used & answered and carried at all times.
 Use truck blocks on tires during every delivery.
 Truck curtains must be down at all times.
 Follow proper lifting techniques and never place yourself in an unsafe situation.
 Report to Dispatch before clocking out to check for any second deliveries.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must be of 21 and over driving age and possess a valid license issued by the state. Must have a clean driving record and pass a driving record check.
Have a working knowledge of basic produce items.
Understand grading scales and stages of vegetable and fruit maturity (Preferred)
At least (1-2) Years of Produce Experience
At least (3) Year route delivery experience or applicable background driving a truck (Preferred) 26' ft. Bobtail
Knowledge of the geographical area (Preferred)
Able to read and write English and have basic math skills
Good Communication Skills
Bilingual Preferred (English/Spanish)
Able to move, push or pull 75lbs frequently during the work shift
