    General Description:

    It is the primary responsibility of the Business Developer is to train and learn the business

    from the Business developers and all who assist in training com. So the BD can bring a consistent flow of profitable new business to the business enterprise, in accordance with the company's sales and marketing plan.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Solicit sufficient new business opportunities for the organization in order to meet sales objectives. Represent the company in appropriate organizations for the purpose of building relationships that lead to new business. Prepare proposals for new work in a complete and professional manner. Maintain company data base of current customers, prospective customers and past customers to support marketing efforts. Keep a record and aggressively pursues proposals in progress. See that estimates are prepared and approved prior to submitting to the customer,

    Other Responsibilities:

    Assist Account Managers as needed to sell enhancement work. Assist as needed in the customer retention process & account renewal process. Provides constructive and honest feed back regarding customer perceptions of product and service value

    Reports to:

    Senior Business Developer -or Owner or General Manager

    Performance Metrics:

    Base Plus Commission

    Sales to sales goals Proposals submitted to goals Close Ratio Accuracy and completeness of data base
