Job Description
Cedarfield, Richmond's premiere retirement community, is hiring housekeepers to join our team as we expand. The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning the assigned areas according to schedules and departmental policies and procedures. The housekeeper will also keep the equipment assigned to them in clean and proper operating condition. Responsibilities include:
- Cleaning resident apartments according to schedule
- Keeping the housekeeping cart stocked and in good condition
- Following instructions on the use of all cleaning chemicals
- Attending all in-services and trainings as required
- Reporting any issues to the direct supervisor
Cedarfield is moving towards Person First care, providing excellent service to residents while striving for a family-like atmosphere for team members. Knowledge of institutional/commercial housekeeping methods is a plus, but not required.
