Roles and Responsibilities bull Maintain and evolve existing Jira (Business, Software Service Desk) projects, workflows, automations, permissions, notifications, dashboards, filters, reports, etc. as well as improve Jira security bull Administer and support our Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence, Service Desk) instances bull Work with subject-matter experts from different departments in order to understand their internal processes and translate them to Jira projects bull Create custom web hooks and build integrations in other systems bull Accurately and consistently document necessary information that is easily digested by other people (Wiki articles, procedural documentation, technical briefings). bull Demonstrate strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills. bull Demonstrate ability to provide exceptional customer service to the GuidePoint user base. Desired Skills Experience bull Possess strong client-facing and communication skills (written and verbal). bull Experience reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals. bull Experience creating JIRA templates, custom issues and workflows, custom forms and attributes. bull Experience in usingextending REST Services provided by Atlassian. bull Experience with JIRA Power Scripts (SIL) andor Script Runner (Groovy) bull Good project management skills. bull Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail. Educational Professional Credentials bull Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience bull 5+ years of experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence including tool administration and customization. bull Atlassian certifications are a plus Travel Office Location bull Approximately 10 out-of-town travel to regional offices andor data centers bull Sr. Systems Engineers work remotely or their regional office when not traveling Why GuidePoint?
