Network Development Engineer (Join-Ns2)
At Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), we build the future of the cloud for Enterprises as a diverse team of fellow creators and inventors. We act with the speed and attitude of a start-up, with the scale and customer-focus of the leading enterprise software company in the world.
Values are OCI's foundation and how we deliver excellence. We strive for equity, inclusion, and respect for all. We are committed to the greater good in our products and our actions. We are constantly learning and taking opportunities to grow our careers and ourselves. We challenge each other to stretch beyond our past to build our future.
You are the builder here. You will be part of a team of really smart, motivated, and diverse people and given the autonomy and support to do your best work. It is a dynamic and flexible workplace where you'll belong and be encouraged.
This role offers huge upside potential, high visibility, and fast career growth without the risk of a typical start-up. It is a unique opportunity to work with smart people who are solving complex problems in distributed systems, networking, multi- tenant Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), and Software Defined Networking (SDN) operating at massive scale.
Customers always want higher availability, more bandwidth, greater network security, less network latency, less network jitter, and lower overall cost. We are reimagining the traditional planning, provisioning, and life cycle by creating SDN services that allow customers to connect their on-premises networks, data center networks, and/or other networks via enterprise-grade links to Oracle's cloud. Customers can then access dozens of leading PaaS and IaaS services that span database, Java, integration, analytics, compute, and storage. At its core, our SDN services provide customers with rapid configuration, pay-as-you go pricing, and seamless scalability.
We are looking for a Network Development Engineer to build & manage services that comprehensively model, provision, secure, scale and operate OCI networks. Network engineers will use the network automation to represent arbitrarily complex datacenter networks and subsequently build, interconnect and scale these networks. Network Operations will be able to centrally administer OCI's networks and automate responses to common operational problems using the network automation API. OCI service teams will be able to augment the rich data provided by the network automation to enable new scenarios.
This is for an opportunity to support Oracle's US Government facing cloud environments. Candidates will require clearance at the TS level.
