Job Description
Insight Technology Solutions currently supports a contract providing IT support services which operates, maintains, and improves information technology services and processes for the TSA's Office of Information Technology (OIT) and are in need of a Defense Red Switch Network Engineer. The individual: • Provides 24/7 maintenance, modification, and installation of the secure Defense Red Switch Network, cryptographic equipment (KIV-7 and KIV-19M) and instruments (IST, STE and STU-III) in support of the Department of Homeland Security, Transportation Security Administration and other top DOD officials, to include remote site support. • Provides Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) initial and recurring training for all users. • Assists with Secure Video Teleconferencing support.
• Assists with IT Desktop support, Meeting Place support, Alert Notification System support, WEBEOC support and Network password support. • Updates the equipment database to help ensure inventory is kept up to date. • Assists with any IT equipment moves to/from offices and deploys surge laptops for immediate response in order to stand up a Crisis Action Team. • Provides printer maintenance support and maintains supply inventory for approximately 30 units.
• Ensures the REMEDY ticketing system is kept up to date on DRSN trouble tickets for problem/resolution in order to exceed customer repair requirements.
