Automotive Accounting Tag/Title experience is REQUIRED. TOP PAY for experienced candidates with High Volume background along with proven & experienced track record. Title associate prepares all tax and title documents for all retail and wholesale transactions, submits all legal documents to the DMV including in state and out of state. Title associate must be a highly organized individual with strong attention to detail as well as the ability to handle volume. Other areas of responsibility include posting, schedules and various other admin duties. Candidates should have familiarity with principles and practices of automotive accounting. Candidate should have initiative, problem solving ability and understand the importance of follow up as well as aging. Customer Service skills are a must. Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills between team members, managers and all associates. Professional appearance and demeanor required. Proficiency with automotive accounting software such as ADP or Reynolds and Reynolds as well as Microsoft applications.
You will be responsible for accurately documenting, recording and tracking all titles and Registration of sold vehicles.
Posting and processing of all wholesale sales for the dealership
Ensure timely transactions with tracking reports
Trade payoffs, Prepare purchase and trade-in documentation, Secure Power of Attorney, Motor Vehicle forms, etc.
Calling Banks for follow up on titles
Prepare, copy and submit all legal transfer documents to the state department of motor vehicles (DMV)
Retail titlework for in state and out of state
Scanning of deal documents and filing are a required part of position.
Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned depending on volume.
