Quality Coordinator Ideal Candidate Profile

QTS is currently seeking an energetic, responsive and well-organized full-time Quality Coordinator. This position is responsible for conducting QA-designated in-process inspections, performing production in-process audits, in addition to final product and DHR review, Certificate of Conformance review, and approval to ship product. This position will also support incoming inspection, calibration, and environmental monitoring as well as other QA system support tasks.



Quality Coordinator Job Summary

Provide Quality oversight on the production floor and perform final inspection and release of finished products.
Perform and report on ongoing production audits.
Approve Certificates of Compliance for finished products.
Assist quality and manufacturing in the issuance, investigation, and closure of non-conformance reports, complaints, and CAPAs.
Work with others in the department to communicate and resolve manufacturing questions or issues.
Complete DHR review, final inspection, and applicable approvals.
Document process audits and communicate results with applicable departments.
Back up for other personnel in the department, such as incoming inspection, document control and calibration.
Involved with continuous improvement efforts in support of the Quality System.
Maintain an awareness of workplace safety.


Quality Coordinator Skills and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent.
1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably quality- related work in a regulated industry.
Ability in the use of common inspection equipment such as, but not limited to, calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, drop indicators, and dial indicators.
Mechanical Inspection experience or ability.
Ability to read and interpret manufacturing documentation.
Ability to communicate quality process requirements to production personnel.
Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multitask.
Organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Desired qualifications:
Associate Degree in related field.
ASQ Certified CQI/CQT.
Cleanroom experience at some locations.
