Boeing is seeking a mid-level space subsystem engineer with experience in any subsystem. GNC or Embedded software preferred. Being a Subject Mater Expert (SME) in any typical space subsystem can be used the team is multi-disciplined. The GNC engineers will be responsible for operational health and safety of the system hardware and software subsystems for a 24x7 supported system. These individuals must work well in a small team environment, and have reliable work attendance.
Ability to obtain and maintain system operations certification in role is required.
This position requires an active Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
