Position Description: Global InfoTek Inc. is looking for a motivated senior systems administrator who can work independently and as part of a team. They will help establish, operate, and maintain an advanced analytics system to process payloads of over 10TB. This work focuses on cybersecurity issues and will support research at the US Department of Defense.

Required Skills:  

• Demonstrable installation and administration experience in bare metal deployments, virtualization, and networking configuration
• Experience using Ubuntu with Linux distributions
• Experience with OpenStack, OpenShift, or VMware Vsphere
• Install, configure, maintain Linux distributions (e.g. Red Hat, Debian, CentOS, etc.)
• The ability to create, maintain and administer a Kubernetes system on bare metal hardware or OpenStack
• Experience with large, distributed data stores such as Hadoop, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, etc.
• Experience with Spark and other Apache big data technologies
• Create, maintain, and administer a Deep Neural Network system (e.g., PyTorch with Nvida Cuda)
• Create, maintain, and administer a VPN to remotely access the analytic systems
• Familiarity with Dell hardware

Desired Skills:  

• Experience with the Hashicorp stack: Consul, Nomad, etc.
• Experience with Kubeflow or other GPU frameworks on Kubernetes
• Experience with Ansible or similar configuration management tools
• Experience applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS)
• Relevant certifications (e.g., RHEL Certified, Kubernetes, Hortonworks/Cloudera Certified Hadoop, Spark Administrator)
  
• Creating and maintaining Linux server documentation
