Title- Sr. Recruiter Location- Columbia, MD APV is seeking a professional with a flair for matching job seekers with their passion! A P Ventures, LLC, is a full-service IT consulting and E-Learning company headquartered in Columbia, MD. With many Federal, State and Local contract opportunities, we are looking to add a Sr. Recruiter. In this role, the Lead will be focused on providing services to state and federal agency by sourcing, screening and pre-qualifying candidates for specific job openings and other employment opportunities within the agency. Essential Job Functions Establish a strong rapport with hiring managers to understand their strategic staffing needs and fill vacancies in a timely manner. Manage communications between applicants, hiring managers and others to keep all parties apprised of the status of each search. Work with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and announcements, post advertisements. Recommend creative and alternative advertising venues and strategies. Be proactive, think strategically, and network early in search of stellar candidates for all positions. Develop marketing strategy to attract the pool of candidates. Communicates important employment information to spark and maintain the interests of prospective candidates (i.e., benefits, compensation, etc.). With the assistance of recruitment team, source candidates with qualifications to meet client agencyrsquos requirements utilizing all traditional and non-traditional resources available such as job board searches, job fairs, social media, etc. Screens resumes, interview candidates and present fully screened qualified candidates to hiring managers in a timely manner and coordinate interviews. Manage candidate interview results and selection decision with hiring manager. Provide candidates feedback on interview results as appropriate. Liaise between new hires and human resources, ensuring submission of all documentation required. Track applicant flow maintain pipeline of qualified candidates for future consideration, help collect and analyze recruitment data. Build and maintain database of qualified professionals to rapidly respond to talent management needs. Maintains records of past, present, and future candidates in Applicant tracking system. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements Minimum 5 years of full cycle IT recruitment experience for IT or technical positions. Strong organizational skills with success handling multiple projects with competing deadlines. Excellent communications, negotiating, and convincing skills to get the best talents for various openings. Demonstrated success working in a collaborative, team environment with full accountability for individual goals. Tenacity to overcome obstacles with a strong drive for results. Ability to handle multiple recruitment projects. Ability to multitask and juggle multiple priorities. Ability to understand requirements and articulate a clear concise Job Description for filling client needs. Preferred Experience Background in Government contracting and recruiting for Government contracts.
