    Job Description


    This plant is broken down into two sides - JIT (assembly) and Metals (stamping/welded assemblies). We need Maintenance Technicians for both areas - qualifications are identical but priory experience in either area would be beneficial. Maintenance Technicians will be responsible for mechanical and electrical maintenance of the equipment - the main areas of focus will be on conveyors, PLCs (Siemens), robots (Kuka, Fanuc, and ABB), electrical wiring, and mechanical fixes. There will 18 total Maintenance Technicians - there will be 3 Maintenance Technicians per shift on the JIT (assembly) side (9 total) and 3 Maintenance Technicians per shift on the Metals (stampings/welded assemblies) side (9 total).

    - The first is the candidates confidence/competency on a scale of 1-10 for each 5 "Must Haves."

    - The second is the years of experience and how recent their experience is for each of the 5 "Must Haves."

    ***Candidates do NOT need to be experts in each area, but the more they have, the more likely they are to obtain and offer and succeed in the role.***

    Must Haves:

    1) Conveyor experience

    a) ability to repair, replace, maintain, and troubleshoot conveyor systems, PMs, etc.

    b) Faurecia has a lot of material handling conveyors

    2) PLC troubleshooting experience

    a) ability to troubleshoot, navigate HMI, track and trace, determine faults, jump circuits, edit programs, etc.

    b) Faurecia has Siemens but others are acceptable (AB, GE, etc.)

    3) Robotics experience

    a) ability to repair, replace, maintain, and troubleshoot robots, operate teach pendant, end of arm tooling, commissioning, home the robot, etc.

    b) Faurecia has 5 ABB robots, 2 Fanuc robots, and 30 Kuka robots - experience with any robot is acceptable (Mitsubishi, Kowalski, Motoman, etc.)

    4) Electrical wiring experience

    a) ability to wire up to 480V, understand AC/DC, NO, NC, circuits, schematics, fuses, electrical prints, etc.

    5) Mechanical experience

    a) ability to repair replace, maintain, and troubleshoot mechanical equipment, motors, gears, gearboxes, conveyors, using power and hand tools, operating machine shop tools (bridgeport, lathes, grinders, etc.), welding/fabricating, etc.

    Nice to Have:

    1) Automotive experience

    2) Siemens expereince

    3) ABB, Fanuc, or Kuka robotics experience

    4) Journeyman card/trade education/degrees/licences

    5) JIT/assembly experience

    6) Stamping/welded assembly experience
