    Job Summary

    Seeking Business Analyst-.NET to join US Development Squad, located in New Providence NJ, and to be a member of wider XpertHR development team. Person selected will work with business unit(s) and support multiple complex projects aimed at delivering quality IT solutions and services aligned with budgets and strategic targets. Also, will perform a mixture of hands-on technical business analyses and scrum master responsibilities for US Squad. Further, will focus on gathering and analyzing work group data; defining current processes and requirements; researching best practices; identifying and documenting process improvements and functional specifications; and etc. related duties.


    Requirements 
    •    3-5+ years’ working as technical Business Analyst (BA) with focus on .NET development projects
    •    Experience as BA in Agile environment and with development methodologies -Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.
    •    BS/BA degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience required
    •    ISEB-qualified BA holding IIBA CBAP certification preferred

    Qualifications

     Required

    • Strong knowledge of conceptual data and UML modeling and data flows, analysis and processing
    • Proven track record of gathering business requirements and translating them into user stories/functional specifications, gained on projects of considerable scale and/or complexity.
    • Broad understanding of software development methodologies and strong facilitation skills with ability to facilitate workshops across all organization levels.
    • Advanced verbal and written communication, customer service, interpersonal and presentation skills, that allow for effective communication and presentation of data, across all levels of the organization and a wider audience including senior and executive management, customers, etc., including diction/terminology and presenting information in a concise and effective manner using various mediums. Advanced skills are especially needed in this senior-level role for gathering requirements and translating into specifications and documenting processes.
    • Advanced problem-solving experience involving leading teams in identifying, researching, and coordinating the resources necessary to effectively troubleshoot/diagnose complex project issues; prior success extracting/translating findings into alternatives/solutions; and identifying risks/impacts and schedule adjustments to facilitate management decision-making.
    • Excellent organization/project planning, time management, and change management skills across multiple functional groups and departments, and excellent delegation skills involving prioritizing and reprioritizing projects and managing projects of various size and complexity and Proficient in Microsoft Office products
    • Previously worked as BA and performed BA responsibilities for complex and/or large IT projects with focus on full software development life cycle (SDLC); .NET platform; and, Agile, Scrum, Kanban etc. methodologies.
    • Strong attention to detail and time management skills with ability to work under minimum guidance

    Responsibilities

    • Work with Product Owner and/or business stakeholders to prioritize features, identify process gaps & improvements based on business Objectives, customer value and manage delivery by assisting with the product backlog, roadmap and strategy.
    • Ability to understand and engage actively within data design and delivery forums to ensure that the stated business requirements can be broken down into actionable segments and will be met.
    • Analyze, define and document complex requirements and business processes and develop complex systems specifications, process flow, and conversion strategies
    • Create complex technical and functional user documentation and contribute to the development of new tools, processes and solutions to meet desired product needs
    • Follow business processes, protocols and quality standards for development and deployment of complex solutions and maintain stakeholder expectations and raise appropriate issues to project managers as necessary
    • Develop “trusted advisor” relationship with senior stakeholders through effective communication and efficient, quality execution on projects.
    • Gather business requirements and translate them into user stories and functional specifications
    • Identify and document process improvements based on best practice research and analysis of work group data
    • Work with remote development teams, internal IT and business teams to ensure requirements are being met
