Online Community Manager

We’re looking for an engaging, passionate person to take on day-to-day technical content creation for GoCanvas. We want you to get inside the heads of our customers and create multimedia documentation to address their diverse needs, use cases, and technical capabilities. This role requires a high level of creativity and attention to detail and comes with the potential to have a major impact on a growing SaaS company.  

The ideal candidate has experience writing technical content, recording and editing video tutorials, and understanding customer needs. You should be able to deliver clean copy quickly and efficiently and be a strong advocate for our customers.

Your Most Important Initiatives:

• Create, update, and maintain help content in the Help Center and Community.
• Work with teams across the company to create technical content for customers.
• Manage discussion forms within the Community.
• Collect, report, and respond to key metrics.
• Co-lead creation of product training program
• Collaborate with Product and Development teams to produce public-facing release notes

What Success Looks Like:

• Consistently delivering content on deadline, including keeping up with product updates and releases.
• Providing a helpful, empathetic voice when engaging with customers in the community.
• Recommending improvements to content, content types, and processes.
• Quickly transforming technical specifications and descriptions into digestible, value-driven resources for internal and external audiences.

What You Bring:

• Ability to translate technical concepts into easy-to-follow instructions
• Strong communication skills, especially copywriting and editing
• Technical curiosity and aptitude
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint
• Community management experience a plus
• Collaborative spirit
• Experience with video editing (eg Camtasia, Final Cut, Media Composer) preferred
