Job Description

The Emmes Company, LLC is searching for a Sales and Marketing Analyst.

Primary Purpose

The Sales and Marketing Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing and reporting sales, marketing and other commercial data to senior and executive management inside Emmes. This key role supports strategic business decision-making by our executive and commercial team leaders. The Sales and Marketing Data Analyst plays a key role in analyzing data from internal (e.g. CRM) and external sources to provide analyses that help our commercial team win in the marketplace. The Sales and Marketing Analysis creates reports that enable sales and marketing team members to track key performance indicators and business trends. This position reports into the Chief Business Officer of Emmes and works collaboratively with members of our Sales, Marketing, Communications and HR teams.

Responsibilities
  • Develop data queries and analyses across the customer lifecycle, including lead generation, conversion rates, pipeline analysis, sales, revenue, customer satisfaction/experience and retention
  • Conduct data mining and executes queries to process data from multiple sources, including our CRM, marketing automation software, website, social media sites, and other sources of Emmes commercial data
  • Analyze data and prepares reports for executives and Sales and Marketing leadership on a scheduled and ad-hoc basis
  • Develop and maintains Sales and Marketing KPIs and metrics. Reports on such metrics as required on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Track lead generation efforts in our sales and marketing management software programs and issues reports to relevant commercial leaders
  • Analyze data to identify and communicate significant trends relating to the clinical trials marketplace and achievement of specific business goals
  • Develop and/or maintains dashboards inside business intelligence tool, CRM, and marketing automation systems that summarize key commercial trends and metrics
  • Develop action plans to improve reporting
  • Fulfill ad hoc reporting requests, as needed, in support of business initiatives
  • Interact with sales and marketing team members
  • Perform other duties as required

Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years data analyst work experience or related experience
  • Proficiency working with CRMs, marketing automation software, google analytics, social media and other sources of external data that are tracked by Emmes
  • Ability to gather, organize, and analyze large amounts of information with attention to detail
  • Competence to collect, extract and arrange data from a variety of digital systems through query writing
  • Proven history of summarizing and visualizing data for management level reports
  • Outstanding data mining and analysis skills
  • Strong technical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry a plus
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 a big plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact across all departments of the company
  • Capability to prioritize and organize effectively with moderate supervision
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills as well as teamwork ethic
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, and Word
  • Capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced and demanding environment
