    Job Description

    Harmonia Holdings Group, LLC, an award-winning federal government contractor, has an exciting opportunity for a Software Developer-Java to join our team in Fairfax, VA. To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed meet the education and work experience required, and must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. Other duties, in addition to the below, may be assigned as necessary to meet business needs. Essential Job Functions J2EE Technologies. Oracle DB, JDBC, working knowledge of JPA (Hibernate). Messaging Web Services. Experience implementing with MVC frameworks (Struts, SPRING). Experience with Web Services JAX-WS, JAX-RS, XML, WSDL, JAXB. Working knowledge with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and frameworks (dojo, jQuery, YUI). Experience with application servers WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat. Familiarity with using DevSecOps and Cloud technologies. Minimum Required Qualifications Requires Public Trust BI. Citizenship -. Graduate degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 years of Java, database, and system experience in the IT profession. Ability to interpret requirements and corresponding flows to develop code. Ability to articulate technical viewpoints to team members and clients. Must be a self-starterself-reliant to define strategies and work collaboratively to hardenpublish strategies. Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and deliver high-quality products and customer services. Working experience in a large complex enterprise. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 5+ years of hands-on experience in design, architecture, development, and testing of functional modules in Java, J2EE technologies and design patterns, and databases. Experience with messaging technologies like Web Services as well as be familiar with rules-based development and functional programming. Experience with a CM tool such as subversion or git. Must maintain existing (legacy) applications, yet will be actively involved in new development and modernization efforts. Experience with production support and analysis of application issues. Experience with Agile methodology such as Scrum.
