Being located within a Level 1 Trauma & Burn Center and teaching facility provides unique opportunities to our nursing staff. We are able to admit patients at a higher level of acuity and initiate the rehab process earlier because we have access to the specialists in the acute environment. In this role, you will work in the Leon S. Peters Rehabilitation Center, a 28-bed inpatient rehab facility located within CRMC. Your role here will include opportunities for growing your clinical skillset, as well as advancement through a clinical ladder that is achievable with experience and leadership activities.

As a Registered Nurse in our inpatient rehabilitation setting, you will deliver patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs with the highest professional standard. Our diagnosis mix includes patients recovering from stroke and other neurologic disorders, brain injury, cardiac dysfunction, amputation, spinal cord injury, trauma, and medical debility. As an RN on this team, your focus is to work with patients to achieve their highest level of functional independence and educate their family/caregiver so they can be discharged home safely.
