The Role

GoCanvas is revolutionizing how work gets done by modernizing small businesses through a powerful cloud-based platform and customizable mobile experiences. We are seeking a talented Content Marketing Manager to scale our content program and drive organic traffic to GoCanvas’ website. As the Content Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for content planning, development, and measurement to meet aggressive growth goals. Reporting to our Senior Director of Growth Marketing, the successful candidate will have a strong background in writing, content marketing strategies, and SEO best practices.

Your Most Important Initiatives:

• Author and produce a variety of content (eBooks, blogs, white papers, video, articles, website content).
• Manage content/editorial calendar to attract a qualified audience to our digital properties.
• Collaborate across functions to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and plan.
• Conduct ongoing content gap analysis
• Ensure content is SEO-optimized across our site. Basic understanding of keyword optimization, copywriting, internal linking, meta data, and keyword research.
• Measurement and optimization of content strategy and plan. Use data from a variety of sources to guide decision-making.
• Edit, proofread, and improve existing content.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, or communications
• 3+ years in a content development/marketing role
• Strong writing, proofreading, and research skills
• Proven experience to scale effective content development programs
• Proficient with Google Analytics
• Basic understanding of SEO best practices
• Strong project management skills
• Understanding of social media platforms to promote content
• Working knowledge of how to use digital platforms to amplify content reach
