We are also the proud manufacturers and sellers of our own amazing height adjustable standing desk, the UPLIFT Desk, which was ranked the #1 standing desk of 2018 & 2019 by Wirecutter. We know that every individual has specific needs for their work environment, so the customer service we provide is 100% individualized for 100% satisfaction. We also have a Certified Professional Ergonomist on staff to help optimize our customers’ work environments using ergonomic principles, ergonomics being the science of designing the workplace to fit and accommodate the worker.

     

    SUMMARY

    The Fulfillment Team at UPLIFT Desk is responsible for on-time delivery of quality products to our customers. Due to our record-breaking growth, we are in need of a highly motivated and goal-oriented Fulfillment Lead to support our warehouse management in our drive to team excellence.   Successful candidates for this position will have prior warehouse experience, an interest in a career in warehouse operations,  and a strong desire to excel, win and mentor his or her teammates. Must be able to pass a 7 year background check and a drug screen.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assists warehouse management team with maintenance of policies and procedures; ensures all established policies and procedures are followed by warehouse team. 

    • Assists in directing all picking, shipping and freight loading activities performed by warehouse team; maintains a high degree of visibility and access to employees on warehouse floor throughout the shift. 

    • Leads by example and trains and motivates peer associates

    • Resolves department issues with representatives from other departments throughout the warehouse team 

    • Assists in prioritizing, organizing and troubleshooting outgoing orders. 

    • Communicates team schedules as needed to meet the demands of the business 

    • Escalates personnel issues and requests to management as appropriate

    • Leads crew by example by maintaining a high standard of productivity when executing warehouse tasks

    • Performs administrative tasks as necessary. 

    • Maintains a working knowledge of all warehouse operations. 

    • Performs other related duties as assigned by management. 

     

    SKILLS

    • Strong inventory control skills

    • Proficiency with personal computers and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite or G-Suite 

    • Knowledge of warehouse operations best practices.

    • Commitment to excellence and high standards 

    • Excellent written and oral communication skills 

    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills 

    • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm 

    • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams 

    • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines 

    • Strong interpersonal skills

    • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels

    • Must comply with all safety requirements 

    • Ability to perform the physical labor necessary

     

    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

    • High school diploma or equivalent

    • 2 years+ progressively responsible warehouse experience, preferably in an e-commerce environment

    • Forklift certified or able to become forklift certified 

    • Valid driver’s license

     

    COMPENSATION

    • Starting at $18/hr

    • Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.  Overtime will be required for this position and may include weekend work
