We're looking for a seasoned digital media professional to supervise the in-house buying team for our Prepaid line of business. Reporting to the Director, Programmatic Activation, you'll supervise a team of like minded, results-driven media professionals in the conceptualization of campaign strategy, execution and ongoing optimization of T-Mobile's programmatic (display, OLV, and audio) and social media campaigns. In parallel, you'll work in partnership with the planning and analytics teams to surface insights and strategic recommendations to drive the business forward. You are an established veteran of the digital media space, with a proven record for positioning media to advance a broader marketing strategy and a passion for nurturing team members.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Programmatic Marketing Managers, Programmatic Campaign Managers, and Digital Marketing Specialists to execute programmatic display/OLV/audio/paid social campaigns for TMUS
  • Develop and maintain T-Mobile's LOB-level digital advertising strategy to best align broader business objectives with the latest technology and trends in the industry
  • Establish and implement standard methodologies around programmatic and paid social marketing internally including campaign management, optimization, reporting, cross-functional teamwork and vendor/partner management and billing
  • Seek and develop opportunities to foster the performance or business impact of digital media through testing emerging capabilities and iterating on process and standard methodologies
  • Lead all aspects of day-to-day digital media campaign planning, execution, reporting, and analysis through effective project management and delegation of tasks to junior team members
  • Train, guide and mentor team members on their day-to-day roles helping them develop their industry knowledge, project management skills, and technical capabilities
  • Foster the collaboration of team members during planning and buying cycles to inform audience, inventory, and creative strategy, execution and optimization
  • Prepare and deliver highly-polished presentations to senior business and marketing partners

Qualifications

While the quality and accomplishments of your career will be the determining factor, any finalist will have the following requisite qualifications:
  • 7+ years of digital marketing experience (programmatic display/OLV/audio, paid social, and/or ad operations) whether at an agency, end brand, or technology platform
  • 3+ years of management experience with a consistent track record of coordinating diverse teams with disparate responsibilities to tangible business successes or goals while ensuring the health, development, and motivation of the team
  • Experience with the full lifecycle of a digital media campaign from planning to trafficking and campaign setup, QA and launch, ongoing management and optimization, and reporting
  • Robust understanding of the industry, inventory and platform landscape for both biddable and non-biddable digital media
  • 'Big Picture' mentality to translate technical media concepts into strategic business implications
  • Adept at handling a range of campaigns across different products, goals, and target audiences
  • Demonstrated experience in leading projects from end to end and coordinating resources to support in the successful and timely delivery
  • Familiarity with the direct digital buying landscape and workflow including, publisher evaluations and RFPs, Insertion Order delivery and pacing oversight, and post-campaign reconciliation
  • Deep knowledge of key addressable advertising elements including segmentation, trafficking, tag implementation, A/B testing, auto-optimization, cross-device integration, and security
  • Domain expertise in Google DV360, TTD, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, CM, GA, Amazon Advertising Platform, and/or Adobe Analytics Suite
  • Dedicated, hard-working, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude, resilient, creative, positive, confident under pressure, strong attention to detail with a relentless focus on quality. Be the calm amidst the chaos
