    Why my529

    my529 is seeking an Account Development Intern to join a well-established and growing team in pursuing its mission of helping families save for higher education costs. We are always looking for ways to enhance our services and better equip our customers with the tools they need to prepare for the future, and we need your help!


    my529 Professional Services Team

    The Professional Service Team provides service and support to financial advisors utilizing my529’s advisor platform, a service offering that allows access to client my529 accounts. As a member of our Professional Services Team, you will be joining a hard-working group of professionals that are serious about providing exceptional service.


    Position Overview

    • Update and document notes in CRM
    • Prepare items for meetings (e.g. agendas, giveaway items, etc.)
    • Participate in weekly advisor meetings
    • Draft follow up emails for advisors post meeting
    • Help coordinate team marketing campaigns and email distributions


    Requirements

    Currently pursuing Bachelor Degree with emphasis in business, finance or financial planning


    Skills

    • Organized, detail oriented, analytical
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Positive, energetic attitude and ability to engage in conversation easily
    • Ability to work independently as well as in a group environment


    Intern Job Duties

    • Reconcile financial advisor database and  CRM platform
    • Run data analytics from CRM to determine benchmarks related to linked advisor firms
    • Participate in annual CRM cleanup project (reconcile CRM users, lead source, etc.)
    • Prepare meeting agendas, and firm research
    • Schedule appointments with financial advisor firms and participate in advisor demo meetings, and firm office visits
    • Draft follow up emails


    Benefits and Compensation

    • This is a non-benefited, 15-20 hour position with a flexible schedule
    • The hourly rate is $15.00 per hour
