FLOOR SUPERVISOR
As the Floor Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the production and fulfillment of the warehouse staff. You are flexible and have a versatile skillset in order to carry out a variety of responsibilities as needed. These include but are not limited to driving the Company truck, delegating tasks, and problem solving to ensure the best possible outcomes are achieved.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Delegate tasks among team members to maintain an efficient work environment
• Implement strategic problem-solving related to machinery, processes, and job issues
• Monitor warehouse supplies
• De-escalate any conflicts that may arise between warehouse employees
• Build and maintain a positive rapport with vendors
• Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse
• Oversee operation procedures related to the warehouse functions and implement necessary improvements to achieve expectations
• Plan, implement, and monitor day-to-day operations of the department, including organization of staffing schedules
• Promote an environment of continuous improvement with the goal of minimizing operational costs and maximizing operational effectiveness
• Hands on management – active participation in warehouse activities

REQUIREMENTS:

• High-school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to supervise and coach individuals
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to identify work priorities in a constantly changing environment
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to work with machinery and lift objects
• Accountable and delivers on commitments

COMPENSATION
Competitive compensation will be commensurate with experience. Participation in company benefit offerings includes medical, dental, vision, 401K, and wellness. This is a full-time, onsite position located at our Production Facility in Dulles, VA. Local candidates only; relocation assistance is not provided.
