POSITION SUMMARY:
The Business Development Executive is responsible for maximizing revenue for the full line of Viamericas Corporation services to existing and new agents within an assigned territory. Candidate should possess experience in Outside Business to Business Sales or Consumer Products for example: check cashing, prepaid phone cards, prepaid credit cards, check processing, etc., preferably in Latin corridors.
Responsibilities:
This position is specifically in the corridor of Washington/Oregon.
Candidate must reside within one of the two states mentioned above, or be able to relocate to the area within 60 days of employment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
2 + years of proven sales experience required, with industry experience preferred. Similar experience such as check cashing, prepaid card services, merchant services, (Telephone cards, credit cards, etc.) may be considered based on experience and network.
Multicultural Experience is a must, Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Colombia, Brazil, Philippines etc. highly recommended for employee success.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Bilingual Skills required: English and Spanish
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
Must have great follow-through skills, and a go-getter mentality.
Ambitious, Energetic, Confident, with a Strong Work Ethic.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
