Summary Join the National Geospatial Programs (NGP) leadership team as an Associate Systems Director for the Sensor Integration, Architectures, and Acquisition (SIAA) Department. In this role, you will enable the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) to support critical new sensor platforms and shape the future GEOINT architecture and enterprise services. This position represents a career opportunity to lead Aerospace's Sensor Integration support to NGA's Chief Information Officer and Information Technology Services (CIO-T) which acquires, provides, and maintains geospatial information technology, services, and business solutions. Upon joining the NGP leadership team, you will work closely with the SIAA Systems Director to focus on Sensor Integration efforts to ensure the success of current and future programs. Key Functions Building, maintaining, and driving collaborative relationships between NGA intelligence leaders across multiple Directorates and their Intelligence Community (IC) counterparts to bridge joint dependencies and co-development Developing, communicating, and defending technical and programmatic positions on customer issues which may include, systems engineering, ground system acquisitions, digital engineering, networkarchitecture concepts, and technology developmentreadiness, to both the customer and Aerospace senior management Building and Leading multi-disciplinary teams of subject matter experts from Aerospace's Engineering and Technology Group to ensure appropriate tasking, progress and results are achieved Providing management functions such as hiring, performance assessments, mentoring and career planning, manage and track resources, provide periodic reporting and other required documentation Supporting the SIAA Systems Director, NGP Principal Director, and Aerospace senior leadership in facilitating, sustaining, and growing strong customer relationships Required Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related technical discipline Experience working with NGA, the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), their common interfaces, and lines of demarcation Demonstrated ability to work across mixed government, SETA, and FFRDC teams Demonstrated ability to recruit, direct, and manage performance, evaluation, and career development of highly skilled technical staff Demonstrated ability to establish, maintain, and grow effective working relationships with customers Familiarity with program management, DoD budget programming, requirements, andor acquisition processes Exceptional interpersonal, collaborative, customer interface, written, and oral communication skills Exhibit high level of innovation, creativeness, and initiative Ability to travel locally to off-site meetings and air travel to Aerospace or Customer office locations (once COVID guidelines permit such travel) This position requires the ability to have and maintain a current and active TSSSBISCI security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government.
