Must have 1-2 years previous back office experience in an ophthalmology (retina preferred) environment; experience preferably with EHR or EMR systems, solid technical bkgd.  Good communication skills.  Flexible work hours a plus.

Responsibilities include vitreo-retinal back office technician duties including patient work-up (vision, pressure, dilate, record medical and eye history), performing OCT testing, Fluorescein Angiography testing, ultrasounds, and taking tonometry reading using a tonopen and/or applanation, clinical data entry into computerized medical system.
